Since 1968, TDI has published The Blue Book, a national directory of TTY numbers for deaf and hard of hearing people to connect to one another, and was only available to TDI members.

Today, the Blue Book is a worldwide directory listing of businesses, schools, organizations, government agencies that have a vested invested in the deaf and hard of hearing community, including deaf business owners, consumers, clients and parents of deaf and hard of hearing children.

By listing your company in the Blue Book, you can help TDI’s advocacy work in the nation’s capital. TDI has submitted thousands of policy proposals benefiting people who are deaf and hard of hearing. Our focus is on information and communication technology using wired / wireless lines, like telephones, internet, radio, cellphones, computers, video conferencing.
